Work Experience

 

Divine HD (a Cablevision Network)                                                   May 2004 through present

Associate Producer (freelance): Talent scout, talent handling, editing/segment production, research coordination and management, location scout, logistics & general administration for a new high definition film network which launched in June of 2004. 

 

MTV News Now                                                                                             March/April 2004

Production Assistant (freelance): Served as location scout for out of town field shoot, conducted MOS interviews, sat in on segment production sessions, digitized video for Avid, researched facts for the show, located and organized tapes, scheduled logistics for high profile interviews, logged tapes & scanned graphics.

 

The Apprentice (Donald Trump & Mark Burnett Productions)                           October 2003

Camera Production Assistant (freelance): worked closely with camera crews who were shooting talent and b-roll, served as security for equipment, purchased food, snacks and drinks for crew, drove crews, producers and talent to, in and around Manhattan, Atlantic City and Mr. TrumpÕs country club.

 

American Candidate (Actual Reality, R.J. CutlerÕs production company)         June/July 2004

Production Assistant (freelance): Carried & maintained equipment, security, drove crews, got coffee for R.J. Cutler and water for Montel in New York and Washington D.C. for a mock presidential election in a reality style format on Showtime.

 

How to Boil Water (Food Network, Season II)                                    August/September 2003

Production Assistant (freelance): Served as personal assistant to the showÕs 2 hosts, coordinated car service, updated logs, printed recipes, scripts, logs and other paperwork daily for each show, helped the associate producer and executive producer with office administration as needed.

 

Food Network                                                              September 2003 through February 2004

Production Assistant (freelance): Coordinated the inventory of all props in the New York studio for a visual database, photographed and described thousands of items, modified each photo and then entered all information into a Filemaker Pro database on a Scripps company-wide external server.

 

C-SPAN                                                                                 June 1998 through September 1999

Senior Production Assistant I & II: Wrote scripts, studio produced live events  on C-SPAN Extra, field produced live events on C-SPAN and C-SPAN2, generated graphics, created logs, processed tapes & trained new employees.

Political Unit Intern:  Researched packages that appeared on Inside Politics, Crossfire, Crossfire Sunday and Capital Gang; verified information, gained field experience, selected SOTÕs & VOÕs and made  a successful pitch for a story which aired several times.
